quote of the day!

hi everyone, mike here again. i thought i would start off with the quote of the day to get things rolling:

"all this thinking is giving me a headache...."

three guesses on who you think that quote came from? that's right, our dearest krista is hitting the pavement and looking for a job. this quote was the first thing out of her mouth when i got home from work and it made my day. adorable, i think the "hamsters" are running on a rusty, squeeky wheel. all jokes aside, kris worked (too) hard in the uk and this break is well earned. she doesn't need luck, so wish her well (please, please wish her well......our bank account begs you...hehehehe)

anyways, she is has been spending the last couple of days prepping for work. her cv looks great and she is working on those usual interview questions. to help her get in interview shape throw some interview questions/comments out there for her to respond to??!?!?!?!?!

kris mentioned ski dubai in her last blog, so i figured why not mention some more ice sports. my hockey league starts on friday, yep ice hockey. one league, five teams, sixty players, two rinks in the middle of both big malls......but no warm beers after the game. if you are caught with beer outside of licensed hotels it is to the departure gate you go, do not pass go and definitely don't get 200 bucks. the team keeps a pretty good website going with stats and photos. they take this pretty seriously too. there is a player draft - i was drafted on the CNU (dalhousie university) breakers, they run a fantasy hockey pool, but you pick players in the legaue not from the nhl and they have weekly practises. check the site in a couple weeks and you will see that i still don't have a scoring touch......... (http://www.qiihl.com/).

kris suggested i talk about Qatar-ization in work in next blog....stay tuned.
