after the business leg of my trip was complete, mike and i met in the fashion capital, milan, in the thick of fashion week no doubt! it was our first trip to milan however, we had visited italy many times prior. milan is a typical european city, full of hustle and bustle and exceptional people watching :) we were only there for one night which we felt was enough as it gave us just enough time to experience the city's energy and shopping culture! we must have sat in an outdoor cafe for hours just watching the passer byes...something we miss from our days in london! at night there was a huge concert and fashion show in the square near our hotel and the shopping galleria. the duomo di milano (milan cathedral) served as the best backdrop for a spectacular lighting show...
