...has been found!!! a grocery store called 'mega mart' or 'MONEY mart' to mike and i!! here we can find all the little 'treasures and treats' from back home!! it feels like christmas every time we visit...the wallet also agrees as you pay a premium for imported goods not to mention that you have to snatch the goods up when you see them as they may not be there tomorrow!! doha actually has more selection of western products than london did, which to us is a huge plus! so far our most exciting findings have been...
- special k red berries cereal...bought 7 boxes our 1st trip as it is mike's fav!
- CLAMATO juice for yummy ceasars...cleared the shelf out & bought 9 bottles!!!
- english muffins
- licorice (unfortunately NOT nibs)
- ruffles potato chips (sour cream & onion... but it was a 'bad' bag matt)
- triscuit crackers
- veggie burgers
- gherkins
- 'cauldron' and 'quorn' brand veggie products (UK)
- BAGELS!!! (yep, never seen them before in doha until our 3rd visit to money mart!)
- chicken mince
- lean cuisines
