we finally received a personal mailing address here in doha!! for a 5 QR fee we are able to have mail delivered directly to our door which is SO convenient! the postal delivery service is a bit different here - only businesses receive postal delivery their door. residential addresses must hire a po box at the local post office and it is the resident's responsibility to check their mailboxes. a tad inconvenient as the post office would be a car ride away.
